FIREARM TRANSFERS
Customers who wish to use LIBERTY & JUSTICE FIREARMS for transfer services must have the FFL they are purchasing from contact us by email (FFLTransfer@landjfirearms.com) to obtain a copy of our FFL.
All handgun transfers must be on the most recent CA DOJ ROSTER.

All long guns must be CA compliant PRIOR to shipping to Liberty & Justice Firearms, NO EXCEPTIONS!
We only accept transfers from licensed dealers that are registered to ship to CA. Transferring FFL can register using the link below:

After you make your purchase, have that FFL contact us at FFLTransfer@landjfirearms.com
We will contact you when the firearm arrives. You will be responsible for making an in-person appointment and start the DROS process.
All inquiries regarding the status of your order must be made through the seller.
All transfers must pay ALL applicable CA tax and dealer fees on the firearm that is being transferred.
Please note we will NOT accept any high-capacity magazines or re-build kits with your firearm transfer unless you are a Law Enforcement officer. High-capacity magazines will be confiscated at your expense.
Transfer Fees for Handguns
- $100 for handgun + $37.19 DROS
- Up to 2 additional handguns @ $50.00 per gun
- ALL APPLICABLE STATE and LOCAL SALES AND EXCISE TAX WILL BE COLLECTED UNLESS THERE IS PROOF THAT IT WAS COLLECTED BY SELLER
- Taxes will be calculated on the full invoice amount of the firearm shipment. 3% fee WILL BE ADDED if paying with a credit card.
Transfer Fees for all long guns including receivers
- $100 for all long guns + $37.19 DROS
- Up to 2 additional long guns @ $50.00 per gun
- ALL APPLICABLE STATE and LOCAL SALES AND EXCISE TAX WILL BE COLLECTED UNLESS THERE IS PROOF THAT IT WAS COLLECTED BY SELLER
- 3% fee WILL BE ADDED if paying with a credit card
Required paperwork must be completed within 10 calendar days of notification from LIBERTY & JUSTICE FIREARMS of arrival. Storage fees for Transferred Firearms will be charged in accordance with the schedule below - Fees based on calendar days after notification:
- 1 to 10 days = Free
- 11 - 30 days = $25.00 additional fee
- 31 – 60 days = $50.00 additional fee
- 61 – 90 days = $100.00 additional fee
- 91 - 120 days = $150.00 additional fee
- 121 - 150 days = $200.00 additional fee
- 151 - 180 days = $250.00 additional fee
- Firearms left for more than 180 days will be considered abandoned
If you fail your background check it is your responsibility to get the firearm shipped back, all fees listed above will still apply.
