Most folks typically have one of two experiences:
- Being made to feel like a knucklehead at your local gun store because you don’t know the difference between a striker or hammer fire pistol, or if you prefer the DA/SA or a SAO system. And what the heck is AOS, MOS or OR and does it have a RMR, RMSc or Aimpoint footprint?
- You get the feeling that you are just a number. Maybe that’s because you literally must take a number and wait 45 minutes before you can even ask a question at a big box store. Then you feel rushed to pick a gun so you can handle it for 60 seconds before being asked to decide.

The goal of THE L&J WAY © TM is to accurately establish the FUNCTION of the firearm, the best FIT for your firearm while keeping in mind the FINANCES that are available for the purchase. The last step is to FIRE AWAY. Just like buying a new car, you need to take it for a test drive!
After you have narrowed your choices to two or three firearms, we will make every effort to arrange a dedicated 60-minute session at a local range. During this session, you will have the opportunity to live-fire the selected firearms, allowing you to experience how each one feels and performs before making your final decision. Please note that some restrictions may apply to this service.
RELAXED ENVIRONMENT & COMPETITIVE PRICES – Because our business is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY we can remove the waiting time and create an unhurried process while you are finding/ordering the right firearm, purchasing ammo or processing a Private Party Transfer (PPT).
